Conditions of Sale
First
The highest bidder to be the purchaser. If any dispute arises between
two or more bidders, such dispute to be settled by the Auctioneer alone,
whose decision shall be final; and the Auctioneer further reserves to
himself the right to bid himself or his agent, or of refusing any bidding.
Second
No person to advance less than £1 at each bidding; above £2, and so
on, in proportion.
Third
The purchasers to give their names and places of abode, and if required,
pay down 25 percent, in part payment of the purchase money, which deposit
shall be applied to the whole of the lots purchased and not to any individual
lot.
Fourth
ALL LOTS TO BE PAID FOR IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SALE, and cleared away
and time specified by the Auctioneer on day of sale. Any goods not cleared
from saleroom by specified time will be taken into storage and the Purchaser
will be held responsible for all costs.
Fifth
The lots are to be paid for and taken away, whether genuine or authentic
or not, with all faults and errors of description, the Auctioneer not
being responsible for the correct description genuineness, or authenticity
of any lot.
Sixth
The Auctioneer reserves the right of altering the arrangement of the
lots, selling two or more as one lot and of withdrawing any lot or lots,
and of altering these conditions at time of sale. Lots remain at the
purchaser's risk from the fall of the hammer.
Seventh
The purchasers to make good any damage done to the premises by the removal
of otherwise of any lot or lots.
Eighth
Damage done to the premises by the removal of fixtures or other goods,
shall be paid for by the purchaser before the property of that individual
purchaser is allowed to leave the premises.
Lastly
On failing to comply with the above conditions, the money deposited
in part payment to be forfeited. Any lots uncleared within the time
prescribed to be re-sold by public or private sale, and the deficiency
(if any) attending such re-sale, together with all charges attending
the same, to be made good by the defaulter or defaulters of this sale,
whether or not a deposit shall have been paid.
NO CHEQUES WILL BE TAKEN IN PAYMENT UNLESS THE PURCHASER IS PERSONALLY
KNOWN TO THE AUCTIONEER, OR WITH A BONA FIDE CHEQUE CARD.

MAY BE MADE BY CASH, BANKERS DRAFT OR A CHEQUE ONLY (A CHEQUE WILL ONLY
BE ACCEPTED IF ACCOMPANIED BY A VALID CHEQUE GUARANTEE CARD WHICH COVERS
THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNT)

CARDS & DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED
PAYMENTS
MAY BE MADE ONE HOUR AFTER THE END OF THE AUCTION
OR
ON THURSDAY 16TH MARCH 2000 - 9.00a.m. to 4.00 p.m.

GOODS NOT PAID FOR AND COLLECTED BY 4.00 p.m. ON THURSDAY 16TH MARCH
2000 WILL BE ENTERED INTO A FUTURE AUCTION. THE ORIGINAL BIDDER WILL
BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS THAT THE SALEROOM MAY INCUR.
